The Avataq Cultural Institute aims to ensure Inuit culture and language thrive into the future and is the leading cultural institute for Nunavik Inuit. Comprised entirely of Inuit members, its services and programs include the Nunavik Museums Program and Inuit Art collection, Archaelogy, Artists' Support, Geneaology, Documentation Centre and archives, Local Cultural Committees, Traditional Skills courses, and publications and research.
